Tags
Overview
The Tags module in TestOps allows administrators to manage and customize dropdown values used throughout the application. Tags help streamline data entry, maintain consistency, and support categorization across various modules.
When you access the Tags section, you can view a list of existing tags along with options to edit or delete them as needed.
To access the Tags section, navigate to: Settings > Tags
Key Features
Search: Use the search bar to quickly locate specific tags by keyword.
Create: Click the "+ Create" button to add a new tag.
Edit: Modify the type, category, or description of existing tags.
Delete: delete a tag if it's no longer needed.

Create Tags
Follow the steps below to add a new tag:
+ Create: Navigate to the Tags section and click the "+ Create" button.
Fill in the Form:
Type: Specify the Type of the tag (e.g., the module or context where the tag will be used). Once the type is selected, the corresponding Categories will be displayed based on the selected type.
Project: Choose the relevant Project from the dropdown, indicating where the tag will be applied.
Category: Define the category the tag belongs to.
Description: Provide a brief description of the tag’s purpose and intended use.
Submit: Click the Submit button to save the tag. A successful message will confirm that the tag has been created.
Cancel: Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous screen without saving.
Go Back: Use the Go Back button to navigate to the previous page if you want to exit the tag creation view.
