Global Dashboard

The Global Dashboard is your primary landing page upon logging in. It provides an overview of your profile, project involvement, and defects data across all projects.

To access Global Dashboard, go to: Side Bar Menu > Dashboards > Global Dashboard

Key Features

Profile Overview

To view your personal details, click on the "View Profile" option. This section displays all your information, including your role, first and last name, email address, and username. If you need to make any changes, you can use the Edit option to update your profile information or change your password easily from this section.

Project Overview

A comprehensive list of all projects you are involved in, including the project head and team members.

Defects Information

The core feature of the Global Dashboard is its ability to provide comprehensive defect data across all your projects. It offers a clear and insightful overview through visual representations that categorize defects based on their priority, severity, and status. This helps teams quickly identify critical issues and prioritize them effectively.

Each category has a “See All” button that provides a comparative analysis of the total number of defects reported, as well as defects categorized by severity, across different projects. This is presented in the form of bar graphs.

A thorough breakdown of defects reported, including categories by type and priority. Each of these sections offers an option to download the data in PDF format for your records.

Project Breakdown: Displays the count of projects based on their category or project type.

Requirement Breakdown: Shows the breakdown of different requirements within a project.

Project Dashboard

The Project Dashboard provides a focused view on specific projects, allowing for in-depth analysis and tracking.

To access Project Dashboard, go to: Side Bar Menu > Dashboards > Project Dashboard

Key Features

The Project Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of key testing metrics and activities. Users can begin by selecting the desired project to analyze using the Select Project option.

To further refine the data, the Select User filter allows for multi-user selection, enabling a customized dashboard view based on individual or team contributions. The dashboard displays a summary of Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Defects associated with the selected project, offering clear insight into overall test coverage and quality.

Additionally, the Defect Status section presents a detailed analysis of defects, categorized by their current status and type, along with risk indicators to highlight potential areas of concern.

Week wise Defects: It will give an overview of defects week-by-week basis.

Milestones: Will provide you a graphical representation of your milestones planned.

Active Defects and Defect Statistics: View the number of active defects, along with statistics on defects reported, fixed, and open defects.

Defect Metrics:

• Reopened Defects: Monitor defects that have been reopened.

• Defect Aging: Track the duration that defects remain open to identify potential bottlenecks.

• Defect Closure Efficiency: Analyze how efficiently defects are being closed.

Test Case Metrics:

• Test Case by Status: Get an overview of test cases based on their statuses, such as the percentage of approved, rejected, and pending cases.

• Test Case Fail: Identify the percentage of test cases that have failed during execution.

• Test Cases Executed: View the total number of executed test cases, along with their outcomes (passed, failed, or not executed).
