Defect Report
Overview
The Defect report is one of the most important elements of a bug tracking system. The Report details every aspect of defects identified during testing. It’s crucial for tracking the status and handling of bugs.
To access Defect Report, navigate to: Side Bar Menu > Reports > Defect Reports
Key Features and Fields
The Defect Report can be customized to display the following information:
Build
Module
Requirement title
Status
OS
Browsers
Assigned to
Severity
Priority
From date
To date
Report Customization Options
To customize your report, apply filters from the left panel based on your requirements. In the right panel, utilize the extended search option to select the columns you want to include by checking the corresponding checkboxes; note that the Defect ID is selected by default. The left panel defaults to "All," but you can change this selection using the dropdown menu to narrow down your results as needed.

Generate a Defect Report
Steps:
Open “Reports” module from the sidebar menu and Go to the “Defect Report” section.
Use the left panel to apply filters (e.g., module, date range, severity).
Use the right panel (Extended Search) to choose which columns to include in the report.
Note: "Defect ID" is selected by default.
Adjust the default selection (“All”) using the dropdown to narrow down your dataset.
Click the “Generate Report” button.
Once generated, the report can be downloaded in XLSX or CSV formats.

Note: Apply specific date ranges or status filters for sprint or release-level tracking.
Template Features
Save as Template:
After configuring your filters and selected fields, you can save the configuration as a reusable template.
This feature saves time for recurring reports with similar criteria.

Saved Templates:
The Saved Templates feature allows users to quickly access and reuse previously configured report settings, saving time and ensuring consistency in recurring reports.
View a list of all previously saved templates for various reports.
You can search for any report and view, delete, or bulk delete saved templates as needed.
